I am going to be careful with how much info I give, especially because it is all just allegations and it wouldn't be fair to the school or coaches if no violations occurred. But this Phoenix school could be in some major trouble if evidence presented is enough in the eyes of the district and AIA.
Here's some of the evidence, for transparency:
- off-campus team activity allegedly not approved by school
- direct messages to players at other schools (thought we learned from the Hamilton situation)
- alleged home visits to players at other schools
- players at this specific program actively recruiting through DM (this happens all the time and there are no rules that say kids cant do this so oh well)
- A student-athlete still actively enrolled at a junior high/middle school participating in spring ball practices at the high school
We'll see how this unfolds.
