Was driving around last night and tuned into the D-backs game. Schulte made it clear they were broadcasting from empty Chase Field while watching the game from LA on monitors. Also brought up the fact that there are no fans in LA. Despite all of that, there was fake crowd noise on the broadcast.
I personally am bothered by it. Why act like everything is normal when it obviously isn't? Plus, a low murmur of noise is annoying as it does change with the moment.
