One of my friends just got back from a cruise, and the tube slide similar to one you’d see at a water park lost lubrication (hehe), so people were getting stuck inside the shit multiple stories above the sea and having to climb back up it.

    No fvcking thank you.

So, a woman was probably piloting the ship in alpha's post, and the tube slide referenced in your post was probably serviced by an old woman who has also lost lubrication. Seems like cruises are bad ideas.

I hate fvckin' cruises. You are hostage on a ship. A travel warning or rough weather and they leave your ass on the ship for days. Nothing to do but watch cheesy shows, drink and eat soft serve ice cream. The only thing worse would be to get stuck on the "Roll Tide" cruise with a bunch a bammers. No damn way.

I was with you until you inserted the obligatory anti-bammer bit.

Coolbreeze tiger used to brag about going on cruises - if that tells you the type of people that think its a good idea. LOL

I actually enjoy them. The food is usually pretty good and most cruises have casinos to gamble. I like doing nothing so the prospect of being stuck on a both with limited access to outside world sounds great.

IMO you can't beat a flight to an all-inclusive for a dose of "do-nothing."

We did an Alaskan Cruise from Vancouver to Anchorage AK on a boutique cruise ship (aka no kids) and it was awesome. Helicopter to the top of a glacier with teams of sled dogs; boat ride on a lake to pull in crab traps, watch them get cooked, and eat until you can't walk; not to mention the live music shows and eating/drinking all you are able to consume.

So much better than the cheesy Caribbean cruises...

No a living hell would be a cruise with a boatload of libitards. I would take the wheel and run it thru the North Atlantic looking for an iceberg to hit.
