It's been 4 years since I've seen either Perry or Millennium play in person. This week, I'll be in Goodyear to see the 2-0 teams battle.

Perry has outscored its opponents 117-19 this season and is coming off a 66-6 shellacking of Spring Valley Nevada. Junior QB Diesel Taylor has thrown 4 TD passes each game (giving him 8) with 0 interceptions. It's been a team effort as 9 different Pumas have a reception through 2 games and 6 different players have registered a sack (team has 7).

Millennium has allowed just 20 total points and is coming off a 21-20 win over Campo Verde, which was decided by the Tigers making all 3 of their PATs (Campo missed one). Senior QB Titus Johnson has 447 passing yards and 4 TDs. He's completed 68 percent of his passes. The MHS defense held Campo to just 95 yards passing last week (29 attempts).

Will Perry dominate once again? The Arizona Varsity spread on this one is 16.5 for the Pumas and so far a couple members of the staff think that's too many points. I'll be on hand to find out.
