ST. LOUIS, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team tied a program single-game record with 15 three-pointers en route to a 111-52 win over Concordia on Tuesday night to improve to 5-0.
The Tritons shot 58.6 percent from the floor, including 44.1 percent (15-of-34) from long range.
All 12 players got in the scoring column with six reaching double figures, led by redshirt freshman's Andreas Kefalas' 16 points. Kefalas, who scored 13 of his points in the second half and netted 4-of-6 three-pointers, also pulled down a team-best eight rebounds.
Senior Kevin Swanson chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively.
UMSL, which owned a 59-19 halftime lead, held a 46-31 rebounding advantage and scored 24 points off 17 Preachers turnovers. Concordia was limited to 30.2 percent shooting, including 21.9 percent in the opening 20 minutes.
Junior Derek Shouse tallied five assists and picked up three steals. The Tritons registered 30 assists on 41 made field goals and committed a season-low six turnovers for the second straight outing.
