Stadium grass in game......

    it seemed to me that the turf in the stadium was in bad shape. It looked like some of the injuries were a result. Is it artificial turf? It seems like to me a game the like SECCG should be played in a better stadium.

    It is turf. I don't know if the rubber pellets had anything to do with the slipping, but a few of those injuries looked like it was due to the turf, for sure.

    As for a better stadium, that is one of if not the newest NFL stadiums. Maybe something is wrong with the turf but you won't find a better venue.

    I wondered if they were wearing the wrong shoes. A lot of players struggled with sharp cuts and general traction.

    Maybe they recently replaced the pellets but it was a noticeable problem.

    Yes. The venue looked great. I understand it is really a great stadium to view a game. But something was sure wrong with the turf. Maybe everybody was wearing the wrong shoe. But you would have thought they knew.
