I’m sure you’d be happy with that as you would 11-1 with the 1 loss being vs Bammer

Just curious why would LSU not deserve what ever they win or lose? I would think all teams would deserve what they win or lose.

Not a great team. Benefit from other teams being trash. Some cakewalk wins that make you coonaases think you have a team.

November comes, reality sets in and the Baton Rouge faithful start making their annual reservations for the Capital One Bowl.

Sagarin and a couple of other places project us to be favored. I like our chances, I still think our lines will be pretty tough, and we’ll move the ball better in the air. UT’s depth in the corners has taken hits as well

Past performance is no guarantee of future returns, UT sports can and do lose games

Kidding aside, you are better off holding onto Malzook rather than trading one idiot for another in a desperate coaching search.

Act like pros and find one before you let Malzook go. Just be smart about it this time, unlike 2003.

Naturally Auburn will play the JABA card and get some second tier coach, proclaim him as The Answer to All of Our Problems, and history will repeat itself.

I agree with you on some of this drivel, and even more I find it entertaining how short your memory is. Talk about a desperation search and 'acting professional' (? & LMAO), I guess you've just blocked the clownshow laughing stock you guys were giving us all the last time you had an HC opening.

After getting turned down by... I dunno, 7 or 8 big coaching names, you finally get RR to agree to be your coach only to have your retarded fan base (redundant) make fun of his wife to the point he retracted his acceptance letter. Of course, none of us familiar with your low 80 IQ 'bammer fans' were surprised. And THEN, Mal Moore... (talk about desperation)... throws out his final offer, practically begging and crying for shorty to come back and oh yeah, here are the keys to the kingdom and we'll do anything & everything if you please rescue us.

And you want to preach to us about trading one idiot for another (aka Dubose / Shula?)? Act like pros (Franchoine)? Ha! GMAFB.... go peddle this horseshyt to someone who also has no knowledge of your 'program' or a memory shorter than their dyck.

Bama has hired some stinkers as HC but when you can list Frank Thomas, Bryant and Saban, amongst a few others, you're doing ok.

OTOH, I completely disagree that Auburn shouldn't fire Gus. He should have already been fired. Sometimes you have to throw your hat over the wall so that it forces you to climb over and get it. One caveat, you'd better have the brain trust in place to go get the right coach after you've done it and I don't personally believe that Auburn has the people in place to go make that homerun hire.

In short, it would be more of the same if Auburn fired Gus today imho.

I have no illusions our 'braintrust' (more like brainfarts) will do anything that resembles an intelligent decision when it comes to our next HC. The collective IQ of this bunch closely parallels an amoeba bumping into a paramecium. I had hopes that Gaines Lanier might utilize his past FB experience under Shug and rescue AU from the throes of mediocrity, but he's proven he's just a figurehead and was born lucky into his dad's money.

We need Bobby Lowder to come back and curbstomp some of these shytheads, but alas, the spine and guts of this group can fit in a vienna sausage can.

I've never thought of Lowder as a member of a brain trust but he certainly has the balls to make a bold move.

That’s why I think they should ride it out unless they have a good one. Save the $ and invest in facilities.

Instead Auburn will pay The Bust way too much to get fired and then hire another 8-4 coach for 12-0 dollars. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Well, aren’t they still getting what they deserve? I don’t think TX, AU, FL, MSU, AL, A&M are considered cup cake teams Maybe Ole Miss and AR might be but AL plays all of them except TX and FL. But they do play Duke the eeek before LSU plays TX. LSU also plays Utah State while AL plays Southern Ms. And how does WCU strengthen AL schedule.

If you want to talk about schedules why don’t AL play Clemson, GA and another team like AL in the regular season. TX A&M is playing the preseason #s 1, 2, 3, 6 and 16 teams in the country. LSU is playing the #2, 8, 10, 12 and 16 teams in the country. AL is playing the #6, 12, and 16 teams and only because they are in the SECW. Oh, I forgot. You are playing that power WCU before the AU game.

We do play higher caliber teams every year. It’s called the College Football Playoff.

    Try again.

Maybe if you played a tougher regular schedule every year you wouldn’t be in so many college playoff. Try A&M or even LSU’s. But Birmingham is not going to let you do that and you control your OOC games. It may just be a tougher schedule than you think this year. I’m kind of anxious to see TN get where they beat you every 2-3 years. Go Pruitt. Then you might not like that “traditional” opponent schedule.

Besides we were talking about regular season records when you acted like a butthole.

Does Georgia have an easy schedule too? They seem to be competitive enough to get there.

If LSU would improve their coaching, that would make our schedule even tougher. They need to stop choking to teams like Troy and MSmoo and they could maintain a top 10 ranking.

And there’s something else I forgot to mention. Auburn and LSU like to crap on our schedule - they would make it stronger if they would be more competitive. Stop dragging our schedule down!

Alas, it’s easier to be jelly of the team on top rather than do the work required to compete at that level.

Kissing who’s azz Bill? You make phucking stupid arguments - sorry if pointing that out chaps your cheeks

I always wondered why the group trolls you like a tuna boat.....but you torture circular logic as if you personally were tying the Gordian Knot, all the while failing to note your own teams failures and foibles for which you castigate others. I get the whole “defend the brand” shtick....but try to assemble points that at least holds a shred of logic and perspective

Also Bill tends to forget the tough LSU schedule paradox. If they play a tough schedule (ie Texas) and win.. that makes our schedule tougher than theirs because those teams couldn’t beat LSU and we did!
    Think about it....

Isn’t it funny you alway “point out” stuff when when it’s me involved with AL or TN or AU. and you always enter on their side. If you and I get in between KY and LSU that one thing. No holds barred. But why get involved when it isn’t about you or KY.

And I LMAO at Honk. He tries to appear innocent by saying, “I don’t have a dog in this fight, but...”. You know why he says that? He knows he is KA and trying to pretend not to be. Everybody knows he has become a complete KA. Now you are doing the same thing cozying up to the Bama guys. If it don’t concern you stay out of it. You don’t see some of the best posters on the board getting into it.
