is that 4.5% of voters didn’t even have him on the list. How the fvck could that be?
People who wanted someone else to win and knew leaving him off entirely gave it a minimally better chance...
Don't they vote for three candidates with every ballot?
Can't imagine anyone not having him in their top 3. Curious how the votes tallied, I would think he won it running away.
It was a landslide. They were showing stats on the show and that’s where I saw the 4.5%. He was either the largest margin winner or right there. Blew everyone away, and I think I saw Hurts was second.
He did win it going away. In every category he set a new record.
The 4.5% was also a record low for winner being left off ballot. Not uncommon at all...
I know. Could be said for many other winners. Either some voters have an agenda or they just don’t pay attention. Or both.
Incredible season by Burrow. I'm not sure I've ever seen that much improvement from one season to another as what he did this year.
You can thank Tennessee and Miss St. for the Heisman and Biletnikoff. Enjoy!
What? He had 393 against Bama. Man you just can’t stand it, can you? Ga Southern was his season low, 278.
Tua was zeroed on about 10% last year. Bammer fatigue Cost him the trophy last year... injury this year prevented 2 straight.
So what? We were crippled on defense too. Tua had 410 on LSU playing on one leg. He was way ahead in stats, efficiency and Heisman odds unti he was injured in the 3Q of the Ucheat game.. he and the Fantastic Four would have EASILY exceeded LSUs numbers.
He sounds very aw-ish
LMAO! bammer fatigue! You never run out or excuses....Sometimes you even get creative with that imagination of yours..
STFU with your excuses...Results! Isn't that what the former GOAT said? Remember he told that reporter that he doesn't worry about players getting injuried.
"GOAT SEC QB wins the Heisman!"
LOL that Alabama going 10-2 is considered a "down year"
That kind of performance at other schools gets you a big extension.
But, but. but according to the soothsayer, mr. gator, that shouldn't ever happen. Especially with all of the MNCs in recruiting, and a roster full of 4 & 5 stars.
I'd gird myself for more of these type years tho...
LOL. I have never seen this many sore losers. I would rather thank Tua because he can’t can’t carry a ball in his right hand and and attempted to do so. Then thank him for the interception that resulted in an immediate touchdown because a dumbass AL OL committed an egregious personal foul.
Then I would like to thank the AL D for allowing him nearly 400 personal yards.
Do you really think that TN or MSU had anything to do with Joe Burrow setting all those SEC and NCAA records or Chase catching all those passes?
You guys are proving that some of you are the sorest losers and biggest homers on record, with you and Pops leading the way.
When you consider this is the first year since the CFP started that AL has not made them, yes I would say it is a down year. The question is will AL be able to put a finger in the hole in the dike. You guys giving Saban a big raise or extension?
What did that have to do with all the records Burrow set and TD and yards and TD Chase made? Before Tua got hurt Burrow was ahead of him in all the categories. Chase and Jefferson led the AL receivers.
Point is everything is relative. It is a down year by bama standards but would be a high water mark for many.
Personally I think Saban runs out his current contract and retires to TV. That’s only two more seasons and he will be 70 at that time.
I’ve never once been sore about LSU. Burrow seems to be a good guy and based on his stats should’ve won the trophy.
Your blather stems from me pointing out the eerily similar traits and similarities between the girl thrasher, Ed Orgeron, and Gene Chizik. Pipe down.
No you are a total homer. When you congratulate LSU and Burrow without a caveat maybe not.
Maybe so. Hard to keep performing at the level Lourde Sabes has for the last decade. You realize his win % is just under 90%, yes?
The whole team improved. He got here in June a year ago. He did not even go thru spring practice. He did do the summer drills.
We had a different OL every week and the OT both missed spring practice. Both had never gone thru spring practice because they were sophs in 2018 and only had the one they missed. So they never had extensive technique training. One was recruited as a guard. The OL coach was new. They were also being trained for RPO zone blocking.
The pressure on Burrow was terrific and he was buried or sacked a lot.
This year the OL went thru spring training, both the starters and the backups. At the end of fall practice O said the OL was the most improved unit on the team.
The receivers were freshmen and soph starters last year. They dropped a lot of balls. Not sure about this but I heard Brady had them catch 10,000 balls out of the jugs machine over the summer and fall practice. This seems like a lot to me. But any event they did a lot, whatever the number.
My son was in FL recently on business and heard some scouts discussing the improvement in Burrow’s accuracy in 2019 over 2018. They said the same thing you did about improvement in accuracy. When they checked they found out he was very accurate when a pass play was not hurried and drops were like this year.
In other words his accuracy was very good in 2018, but all the others offensive problems obscured it.
There isn’t a caveat, you dunce. The question asked for a comparison of your domestically violent coach to another coach. I provided an opinion but backed up the opinion with facts.
You disagreed and still can’t tell me what wasn’t factual, you blind homer.
Actually you have proved you are are the blind homer. You can’t stand this situation. You will have nightmares all year thinking it will happen again next year.
You’re continuing to prove my point, and somehow that is lost on you. Luckily for the rest of the board, everyone else is laughing at you.
Very deserving winner. The people who didn't have him on their ballot are retarded.
I said basically the same thing and got called a homer.
Yep he stepped up and earned - props to Burrow from me
He said crippled.... I have to laugh. Bammer's on one leg are better than the entire football world. hell, row thde
If Tua took the hits Burrow took this year he would still be in the hospital. I am still tring to figure out how Tua got hurt on the hits. Every hit looked like a routine tackle on Tua while Burrow got smoked, popped up and made another completion, Tua was headed to the Med tent... as I said.
Everything you said the way you said just proves you can’t stand the idea of LSU and Burrow winning anything. Puts you a super homer.
Here's your homer comment ftr...
Exactly! It goes deeper than that though. Bill is angry that I pointed out the striking similarities between the woman walloping coach at LSU and Gene Chizik.
He will never admit it, but facts are facts.
All I say is you continuallysay things like that because you cant stand the fact that Orgeron has done so well. I don’t think you have ever congratulated LSU on winning the SEC. You can’t do it. You are the real homer. I don’t care what you say about anyone because it means nothing. I also don’t get angry.
By the way, what is the deal with Diggs and Lewis?
I think Lewis has real potential if he stays healthy but I don't get all the Diggs love.
Both have decided not to play in a "meaningless" game so they can prepare for the draft.
